El libro es muy intersante, bien claro y en un lenguaje decente para digerir. Explica de manera muy coherente por que en latinoamerica estamos tan atrazados, explica como los corruptos se han apoderado de nuestros pueblos hodeando la bandera de la igualdad socialista y a la vez vendiendoles la falsa prosperidad y los ponen de rodillas hundidos en la miseria para que extiendan las manos a la espera de la tan ansiada promesa electoral mientras ellos viven a sus anchas como millonarios y no cumplen no que predican, buen libro recomendado ampliamente.Mensaje para los socialistas: Si tanto les gusta ese metodo como filosofia para conducir un pais, deberian ser los primeros en la fila y renunciar a los beneficios del poder. Den el ejemplo vi vivan como el pueblo.

Actualizaré esto cuando y si es que lo leo. La razón de darle una estrella a esta excusa de libro es la siguiente:Estoy por el final del prólogo y leo esta oración en referencia a Winston Churchill: "Cabe aplicarles lo que dijo Churchill de los socialistas: no son abejas, porque éstas al menos producen miel, sino termitas."No existe buscando en español, no existe buscando en inglés, ni con Google, ni con Bing, me atrevo a decir que no existe en general. Incluso he comparado con este libro:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0080K3TKU/ref=oh_aui_d_detailpage_o00_?ie=UTF8&psc=1que se supone contiene todos los discursos y citas del hombre, y es que no aparece esta cita. No existen "bees", "bee", "honey", "termite", "termites", ni tan sólo "Socialists are ". Esque esta frase es inventada, no sé de dónde salió pero Churchill no la dijo.Si este es el principio del libro, mal vamos. La cosa con las compras electrónicas es que no se pueden devolver así que lo tendré ahí cuando en un momento de extremo aburrimiento, y sin otro recurso, me lo lea como obra de ficción.

This is a book I was expecting to read, because I have known the two authors, particularly Ms. Alvarez, I have follow her conferences after her appearance in Zaragoza Spain in 2014. In her conferences, she made warning of the advances In Latin America of the left wing populist. Thus, I read this book with great curiosity and the thesis and conclusion were very well explained and documented. There is a prestigious grump of contemporary writers and thinkers that they have endorsed this book, Among them, Mario Vargas Llosa, Carlos Montaner, Alvaro Vargas Llosa, Plinio Mendoza. The reading of this book is a time well expended.

Es un libro muy informativo. Hay una buena recopilación de datos. Está escrito en un lenguaje simple. Muestra la lamentable acción del populismo en varios países latinoamericanos. La mentira, la corrupción, el enriquecimiento de unos pocos en detrimento de muchos a los que hay que mantener ignorantes y dandoles lo mímino para que puedan subsistir. Una gran batalla al capitalismo pero donde ellos y muchos de sus seguidores lo alaban.

Este libro revela todas aquellas cosas que usan las personas e instituciones de tendencia de izquierda para convencerte de sus posiciones pero a la vez revelan algunas realidades que te hacen sopesar la verdad desde otra óptica,,,,

Excelente analisis del populismo en America Latina y el Mundo, con una estupenda investigacion bien documentada y presentando la alternativa para combatirlo EDUCACION.Actual, fresco, facial de entender y si se desea ahondar en el tema la bibliografia y notas estan muy accesibles.

Excelente libro que nos abre los ojos a los peligros del populismo, y nos muestra las herramientas para que cada quien, desde su trinchera, pueda luchar en su contra con las herramientas tecnológicas actuales, como lo son las redes sociales. Con muchísima bibliografía respaldando este gran ensayo y con una gran claridad en su forma de escribir, Axel y Gloria nos presentan este magnífico libro y nos educan sobre el porque, el populismo de Izquierda, ha fracasado siempre y es un peligro constante que se cierne sobre nuestros países latinoamericanos. I bought this as a textbook for a Data Structures class. I think the author did a pretty good job explaining and illustrating various data structures and their respective algorithms. It definitely helped being in class with an instructor, so its hard for me to judge the textbook apart from my class. But overall I think this book was pretty well written. The author uses psuedocode when explaining, and then includes C++ code to illustrate implementations. A lot of the code in the textbook is partially complete, which is fine because they were then used as assignments to complete the code. It's not to difficult to complete the code because the other provides psuedocode.

For some reason the text on the copy of this book that I received appears blurry. Upon close inspection it is almost like the printer printed text onto the same page twice but the alignment was off the second time. (I would need a caliper in order to even measure the offset). From reading distance, this just makes the text look blurry. For a $130 textbook this is a little upsetting. I can't tell if it is just my copy or if this is a universal problem - maybe I will check with some of my classmates and update this review. Either way, it is noticeable enough to give this a 1 star for now unless I can get another copy and send my old one in.Oh, and I think the content in the book is great but poor printing practices for something of this price is inexcusable.

I like how the book reads and the information is pretty useful. I am using the book for a course I am taking at the university. Only issue I have is with the Kindle version I purchased. It is hard to read because you can only zoom in and out. You cannot increase the font size as you can with Kindle novels. This is the first Kindle "textbook" I have purchased, and will probably avoid them in the future because of the font size issue.

Covers a lot of important concepts, but not my favorite textbook. The wording can be difficult to follow and I have to watch Youtube videos to help understand some concepts. I am usually a great textbook learner. I did like that it is lighter on math than similar books on algorithms, allowing me to focus on logic and concepts.

This is a book on how to properly, abstractly, sort, store and compartmentalize data in C++. I found that this book accomplished this reasonably well.But, you need to understand C++. You will need to already understand pointers, copy contructors, exceptions, etc. I found the "interlude" sections, that are there to reacquaint the student, unhelpful.

Used this book for my introductory course in Data Structures at university as reference and study material. No homework or anything whatsoever is to be found in this text. There are no example scenarios and no "assignments" or practice problems in this text, it is all explanation and general examples of application/implementation of the topics discussed.That said, the writing is pretty good, not amazing, but decent. It's generally easy to comprehend, but only after having sat in a lecture covering the material. I doubt very much that many people could learn this material from this book alone without guidance elsewhere. They do a good job of providing example implementations, however, they are done so generally that it may be hard to understand what is happening.An alright book, but I would still recommend for any courses in data structures.

Great textbook with lots of good examples. The online videos that come with the book's code also helped me tremendously. I made an A in my Data Structures class.

I have ordered this twice now. Both times the printing has been off and it’s too blurry to read.
